HEAD, STRATEGY
& BUSINESS TRANSFORMATION

Summary

The Group Head, Strategy & Business Transformation will lead the strategic direction and transformation agenda of the Group. The role is responsible for crafting and executing enterprise-wide strategies, overseeing major transformation programs, and ensuring alignment of strategic priorities across all subsidiaries. This position is critical to sustaining long-term competitiveness, innovation, and performance excellence.

Responsibilities

Strategy Development & Alignment

  • Lead the development of the Group’s overall strategic plan in collaboration with the Board and executive leadership.
  • Facilitate strategic planning sessions across all subsidiaries.
  • Monitor global, regional, and sector-specific trends to inform strategic direction.
  • Ensure cascading of strategy to departmental and subsidiary levels.

 

Business Transformation Leadership

  • Drive cross-functional transformation initiatives (digital, operational, and organizational).
  • Identify performance gaps and design strategies for operational efficiency.
  • Champion cultural transformation and employee engagement in change programs.

 

Strategic Performance Management

  • Design and implement corporate scorecards and performance monitoring tools.
  • Track execution against key strategic initiatives.
  • Lead quarterly business reviews and strategy implementation reports.

 

Innovation and Growth Enablement

  • Guide research into new markets, products, and business models.
  • Assess feasibility and lead strategic case development for new ventures.
  • Foster partnerships and ecosystem-based innovation.

 

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Serve as strategic advisor to the CEO and Board Strategy Committee.
  • Prepare briefing materials and strategic reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate communications of strategic vision across the Group.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field (required).
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent postgraduate degree (preferred).
  • Minimum of 12 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in a strategic leadership role.
  • Demonstrated success in strategy formulation, transformation leadership, and cross-functional team management.
  • Experience in financial services (asset management, investment banking, consulting, fintech, or similar).
  • Familiarity with performance management systems, digital transformation, and strategic frameworks (e.g. BSC, OKRs, McKinsey 7S).
